Las Vegas is the most populous city in the state of Nevada. It is mainly associated with gambling, shopping and sophisticated restaurants. The city is known as the entertainment capital, famous for its huge casino and related activities. It was founded in 1905 and at the end of the twentieth century, Las Vegas was the most populous American city created in the same century. The biggest attractions in Las Vegas are the casinos and hotels, built with unprecedented momentum in different shapes and architecture. The first casino in Las Vegas was opened in 1931, the Northern Club (now La Bayou). Currently, the city center is dominated by objects managed by the corporation Boyd Gaming. In Las Vegas, there are numerous museums, including: Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, Natural History Museum, Lied Discovery Children’s Museum, the Old Las Vegas Mormon State Historic Park, and the Neon Museum, where are exhibited historic characters neon, in the past, standing in the Las Vegas Valley.
