The National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC has thousands of objects on display, including the 1903 Wright Flyer, Charles Lindbergh’s Spirit of St. Louis, the Apollo 11 Command Module Columbia, and a lunar rock you can touch. In addition there is also the Albert Einstein Planetarium, Lockheed Martin IMAX® Theater, and the Public Observatory on the east terrace. The National Air and Space Museum at Dulles houses a variety of aircraft and spacecraft exhibits. Display the massive space shuttle Enterprise, the Lockheed SR-71 and numerous aircraft, spacecraft and other artifacts. Museum provides dramatic views of an aerobatic airplane hot-dogging upside down, World War II fighters angling for a victory or numerous engines, rockets, satellites, gliders, helicopters, airliners, ultra-lights and experimental flying machines. There are a lot of different planes you will see displayed in a strategic way. The best is that everything is life size, even the space ships. We can look also at air traffic leaving from and arriving to Washington Dulles International Airport from the 164-foot Observation Tower. The tower displays air traffic control equipment that replicates those used in an operating airport control tower.
