Gory Stolowe (Table Mountains) – part of the mountains Sudety, an example of labels, one of the few found in Europe, composed of horizontally laid boards. A large part of the Gory Stolowe is the Czech side. The highest peak is Wielki Szczeliniec, with its picturesque slots and interesting rocks, eg. head of a horse, hen, monkey, camel. Other massifs are Bledne Skaly, Skalne Grzyby, Szczeliniec Mały. In the nearby village Wambierzyce is a Marian shrine - the baroque basilica church of the eighteenth century, whose historical origins date back to the twelfth century. It is known as Silesian Jerusalem and one of the popular pilgrimage sites in southern Poland.
