The first mention of Kwiaton date back to 1423. Then it belonged to the family of Gladysz. In 1601 Kwiaton attached to the lands of the Sandomierz province governor John of Teczyn Tarlo. In 1932-1933 almost the entire village was converted to Orthodoxy and they built the second temple. In the 40s of the twentieth century there were deportations to the east. In the village remained only two families. In the village we can see one of the most beautiful Orthodox churches Lemko - Saint Paraskeva, built around 1700. It is a temple of three parts - the parts on the set of squares, oriented, framework, the annex was built on pole construction tower with sloping walls. Baroque accents are the three bulbous helmets crowning the three parts of the church. After conducting a few years ago reconditioned, during which the whole church upholstered with shingles, looks simply delicious. Inside it preserved rich furnishings from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, decorated in the tradition of late Baroque, the eighteenth century polychrome and iconostasis from 1904. Particular attention is paid, unusual decorative, openwork window sill choir. Temple is surrounded by a low wall with wooden gates frame construction, the picturesque shingle roofs topped with onion-shaped domes.
