Greater Fire Service Museum - it is a museum presenting archival materials, accessories and equipment related to the topic fire fighting. The museum was opened June 16, 1974 year, thanks to the efforts of local authorities, PTTK activists and fire brigade. It is based in the historic church Evangelical 1763. Through the efforts of municipal authorities and the State Fire Service in Poznan museum it was expanded to include next to the building of the former school. The museum has approx. 4,000 exhibits, including 26 and stables (years 1776-1923), a collection of helmets and uniforms, motor pumps (the oldest of the ’30s twentieth century.), medals, posters, books, and 24 fire-fighting standards. Antique cars, fire engines and other heavy equipment are presented on the ground floor and exhibition pavilions, among them two Chevrolets from 1927, bedford ladder in 1954, Star 20 in 1953 and others. The museum also exhibits are staged transferred from the partner cities from Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Belgium, Hungary, Ukraine and Russia. In August 2010, the museum was enriched with Poland’s first interactive room - "The firemen to the rescue nature".
